The purpose of jailbreaking the iPhone or the iPod Touch is to add the use of jailbroken apps onto the device. My mom and dad got home from their date a few nights ago, and my mom was feeling pretty silly from a night of enjoying herself.  She started telling me about all of the things that they had done.  They had a few drinks at their favourite restaurant, and at one point, my mom started to point out the acne on the waiter’s face.  That was when my dad put his foot down and decided that it was time for them to leave.  He left a very large tip for the poor guy, and made sure that they would be able to come back.

If I was mayor of Lehi, I will have a postcard printed to commemorate the 25th year of Kevin Bacon’s Footloose. I will look for a dependable local printing shop that will do the printing. Lehi, Utah has many such printers and I’m sure they will be more than willing to undertake the job.

The Lehi Roller Mills should be a good subject for postcard printing.  Lehi, Utah became widely known all over the US because of it.

And if I really am the mayor, I will organize a Roller Mills Dance Festival.  Invitations will be sent out and the whole of Lehi will have a good time.

For my birthday I decided that instead of painting the town blue and blowing an entire paycheck on booze and partying I was going to do something meaningful. I decided that building a beautiful patio was just the ticket! I was practical and would give me the chance to do something personal for my home, something I had been meaning to do but never found the time. It was like God was rallying to my cause because the next day I found discount glass mosaic tiles for sale at the local construction supply shop. I knew exactly what to do with them. When I finished my patio it was a beautiful lime and concrete mix for the base, accentuated by a spectacular mural made from glass mosaic tiles. I think it’s the best present I ever gave myself.

Seeing the wonder in the children’s eyes as we pulled up to the Fortview House – a fantastic B+B in Cavan that’s also a working farm – made us realize we were all in for a holiday to remember. We warmed ourselves by a turf fire as our hosts made us comfortable. Meals were healthy, with garden-grown vegetables and fresh dairy from the farm, served whenever we liked. The kids hiked, rode bikes, and we all boated on a lovely lake. There was even a pub in walking distance for the two of us when the kids were settled for the night. All in all, it was the best of holidays, and we’d go back again!

The problem with selling insurance is that you have to keep getting new customers. The fun part about being in insurance is getting those new customers to talk about what they need and then to make the right investment.  To do this I need Insurance sales leads and that is the hardest part of the job.  The only times I feel discouraged is when I do not know the next person to approached.  As long as I have a list and can go after the top one on the list I can get myself motivated and out the door to sell my next insurance policy.

This theory may have been true back in the early days of the 1900′s but rarely do we find this to be true today.  The marketing firm was yet to be heard of.  It was in the 1920′s that industry ran on the premise of it being a “seller’s market” which literally translated meant that the demand was greater than the supply.  The consumer had little to choice from as production was very limited.  In this era, the theory was that there was no need to advertise as the quality of the product would sell itself.  While that may have worked then, today we find a quite different scene in the market place.

I don’t have any doubts about my little girl being responsible enough to take care of her new puppy dog.  She’s always loved animals so much, and we felt it was time to make her dream of having a puppy come true.  And the great thing is, they can grow up together.  The only thing she isn’t solely responsible for, and what all the rest of us in the house have to help with is with the easy dog training lessons we’ve all learned.  This will keep her new puppy from ever getting confused about what she’s allowed and not allowed to do in the house.

Pool Solar Collectors are not difficult to make or install as part of your pool heating system. They are basically just a big flat box, painted black, into which reams of black PV piping is snaked. The box is sealed with a glass cover to further enhance its heat collecting, absorbing and retaining capabilities. There’s nothing quite like relaxing outside on a summers day with a cool breeze. I have found there is something better though – doing it in a hammock. I am quite proud of the decking area in my back garden but I’ve never seemed to make the most of it. I sit in my chair and ten minutes later I am back in the house pottering around. Not any more, not since I got an outdoor hammock. I find it so much more comfortable than my chair that I don’t want to get up, and so much more relaxing that I don’t feel that I should be doing something else. I can now say, and finally truly mean it, that there is nothing quite like relaxing outside on a summers day with a cool breeze.
