What if I go overseas and my car breaks down?
Let’s say you travel to Europe and rent or buy a left hand drive car. Everything is going swimmingly until… your car breaks down! What do you do? Luckily, not dissimilar to AAA, in Europe there is, simply, the AA (Automobile Association). The Automobile Association can help you purchase breakdown coverage ahead of time just in case such an emergency occurs. Even if you forget to make the appropriate arrangements before you leave, there are AA shops throughout the U.K. you can visit upon arrival. What side of the road you must drive on might be an issue, but being stuck on the side of the road shouldn’t be.
