Are Detox Cleansing Diets Healthy?

I often hear about people going on detox cleansing diets, and I wondered whether or not these were healthy. So I looked into detox diets to see what they involved, and found out that there are different types. One type is more of a liquid diet or fast, and these aren’t really healthy, as you don’t get the nutrients your body needs. They are okay for a very short time, but I wouldn’t do them for long. The other type is more like a vegan diet, except sometimes fish is allowed. No processed food is usually allowed. This type of diet can be very healthy if planned carefully.
