How Do Asthma Inhalers Work?

There are many different asthma inhaler types.Asthma inhalers have transformed many people’s treatments, helping them live a normal life. They get the medicine straight to the lungs. The most common inhalers are the metered dose inhalers and the dry powder asthma inhalers. The first one uses a chemical propellant to get the medication out causing a fine mist, but  the latter releases when inhaled and it is faster than the metered-dose one. The medications contained can be short acting or long acting bronchodilators, corticosteroids, cromolyn or nedocromil. No matter the medicine or type of inhaler, the patient must learn how to use it properly to get better results.
