The Healthy Diet The French Way
The French have set the precedent to staying on the healthy diet. Breakfast is the most important meal, but don’t pig out first thing in the morning. Eat six small meals everyday instead of two or three large ones. Have some toast, yogurt, and fruit in the morning along with some vitamins and a glass of milk or a smoothie.
Have small healthy snacks all day long – don’t ever let yourself get hungry, but don’t eat enough to actually full either. Drink less than one soda a day, and look at ingredients in everything you buy when shopping. Avoid preservatives and MSG (monosodium glutamate).
Try to shop for natural, organic, and local produce, as it will be the freshest. Best of all, Grow your own produce! Raise chickens for eggs and meat. You can’t get healthier then that.
