How to polish air horns
Matt McDonald wrote an article on polishing your air horns. He has been in the car industry for three years and knows how to make air horns really shine. Start off by rubbing off dirt on the chrome so you can polish without scratching your horn. Next, apply some rubbing compound on a damp cloth and begin rubbing. The key is to rub left to right, so there aren’t circles after you are finished. I learned this the hard way and my air horns now have a lot of swirls that are not wanted. People often make fun of me.
