Should you do your own investing?
Many investors have wondered whether or not they should spend the time to learn what it takes to do their own investing. As any investment market letter will tell you, while attractive, this approach can also pose significant risks as well — especially as you will not have the benefit of the experienced judgment of a trained broker. If you opt to begin to do your own investing, you will also need to begin to do your own research as well — do you have the training and know how, or are you willing to take the time to learn? If not, then perhaps it would be better to rely on the guidance of others.
