Will Christian marriage counseling help me stop an affair?
Abut six months ago I started having an affair with a woman in my office. Obviously this is something that’s going to destroy my marriage if I don’t end it soon.
I don’t have a lot of faith in Christian marriage counseling or in counseling of any kind, but if I can be convinced that it will help me end this unholy relationship and make me more Christ-like, then I’m definitely willing to consider it.
I haven’t admitted the affair to my wife, so I would probably wind up going to counseling alone. Will this work or does my wife have to be there too?
