The miracles of Jesus—Are they still for today?
When Jesus lived on this wonderful planet he healed many people from all sorts of affilictions. Jesus healing hands were evident everywhere he went. He came to bring a message and within that message is an incredible heaing power and authority over the sick and demon-possessed.
Finding these miracles of Jesus is easy. Open up any bible to the New testaments and you will find page after page of the power of our Lord Jesus. In some instantces Jesus raised the dead!
Jesus was a man full of God and also full of compassion. His love and willingness to heal was amazing. In the first Chapter of Mark we see Jesus spend an entire day healing people. Then he comes back and heals Simon’s mother-in-law.
The next morning Jesus is up long before daybreak and heads out to the woods to pray. Sleep was not something Jesus needed or took part of in great amounts.
Today we still hear stories of the power of healing. We recently had a woman in our church who was given a death sentance. They gave her 6 months to a year. That was 3 years ago and she has been completely healed by Jesus. There is no explanation other than the supernatural. The doctors were stunned.
So what is the problem? Why are’nt more healed?
I really think it comes down to belief…true belief in this awesome power and our willingness to ASK and believe.
