Get Yourself Some Protection
The best and only way to defend against spyware and adware is to use a dedicated anti-spyware software program. Antivirus software programs will not detect nor remove these programs. Malware is different than viruses.
There are a few programs that combine the two security measures, but if you already have antivirus software then you might want to look into getting a simple and quick spyware removal software program.
The best one I’ve found is XoftSpySE by ParetoLogic. This is a great spyware removal tool that allows you to easily scan your computer on a regular basis. ParetoLogic updates their definition list all the time so you know that you are always protected from the latest threats that are floating around cyberspace.
