South Nicosia
Nicosia is still the capital of Cyprus, despite the partition. Nevertheless, Nicosia still receives some tourists. The numbers of tourists is nothing like those of further south of the island.
Virtually all who take Cyprus Holidays and go to Nicosia visit its museum. The museum at Nicosia is also the nation museum. The museum has a vast range of collections, which are considered as some of the best in the region.
As no census has been carried out in recent years, the population of Cyprus can only be estimated. It seems that the population is roughly about 200,000.
